Wow, well its been too long since I last blogged. After much time and many adventures later I am back to start my blog again. I have been inspired by some new friends. The picture below was done in two hours as an experiment. I just wanted to start sketching outside of work.

This was my first exploration in the world of mechs. I had a good time. I did this rather quickly and may come back to this sketch if I still like it and may take it full color. But for now, I am content simply taking it to this level and moving on.

I was aiming for a large scale urban environment that felt as expansive as it was complex. Above is a subterranean vault concept when all systems are functioning normally, which is why it is green. Once the vault senses anything or anyone trying to break in, which includes rapid temperature changes, significant pressure/ vibration changes or movement, the lights shift to red as the alarm sounds (see bottom pic).
